Last year the Fairfield chapter took a road trip to the Sigourney Middle School to give presentations about JEL. Below are Summer and Alex (9th grade), Shelby (12th and F.F Jel Vice President) and Alex (11th grade, F.F secretary).

To introduce the effects of smoking, the presentors had the 7th and 8th graders jump up and down for thirty seconds while only breathing through a straw. After the thirty seconds we had some red faced students gasping for air (bottom picture)!!!
